The UNF is an extension of the United Nations. They are a small military force devoted to protecting the known galaxy from both internal and external threats. They have some latitude, but generally take orders from the consensus of the UN itself.

- Captain (2 red)
- Major (3 red)
- Colonel (4 red)
- Admiral (5 red)
- Fleet Admiral (5 silver)
- High Admiral (5 gold)
- Executive Commander (5 gold with red slash)
