The aarakocra, also known as birdfolk, are avian bipeds primarily residing in the high, mountainous regions of the Zephyr Federation, as well as outlying skylands. As a race they have sworn an oath to protect Aecus from the threat of gargoyles emerging from the Howling Gyre. They are strong fliers and capable warriors.
