Chronicle
- 14e01
One of Invictus’s top lieutenants, said to have replaced his heart with a spirit trapped in a gemstone. At the meeting, he claimed to have witnessed the explosion near the Chamber of Whispers, and was keen to direct the agents there. After teleporting them to Evershroud, he began a spell to turn Feathersworth into a puppet; Ozborn stabbed him, and an eyeless creature emerged from him, insisted it wasn’t lying, and fled, until Freki and Cal killed it.
- 14e04
The real Malachai, found in Invictus’s hidden chamber, alive again and complaining that his crystalline heart setup was ruined. He enjoyed being undead and wanted to keep doing bad things. He silently tried to bind Callie with a spell, wanting a ring of mind shielding to house his soul, and Ozborn stabbed him; his wounds would not heal, and he died after Cal threw him out the front door.
- 14e05
His corpse lay outside the manor; Ozborn hid under it, and a wounded vampire spawn healed itself drinking his blood.
- 15e02
What was left of his soul, a ghost, fell out of Malak’s inside-out sack for the gladiatorial event. He possessed Lestache’s two-torsoed creature, which then phased out of Goratrix’s forcecage and escaped.
- 15e03
The “Malachimera,” Lestache’s two-torsoed creature possessed by Malachai’s ghost, stalked the hunt, banging on the agents’ tiny hut. It fireballed Malak and their bats, and set Lestache on fire.
