The head of the SPI with a unique management style. He is a hard-boiled boss who’s been running the operation for decades. The way he tells it, the SPI never used to get any respect, but he’s worked very hard for a long time to change that.

He privately told Vondal he should fire him, but covered for him in the official file. He then gave the agents an invitation from P. Stormcloud to an auction at the sanctum of T. Invictus, with a briefing on artifacts on par with the Lamp of Seeming.

Over a beer, he caught up on events, was relieved Vondal hadn’t screwed anything up, and set about reestablishing the SPI, putting out feelers to recover Sima’s body from the elves and calling the field agents to a briefing.

Benching the agents until their Flux warping was cured, he suggested Sonan, their old colleagues, St. Benedor, or Grohnea, and made rescuing his double a priority.

Pleased by the Fluxtaint cures, he rebuked Freki and Oz for their conflict, Vondal for killing Sissae unilaterally, and Bec for the infighting on her watch, and promoted Cal to team captain on probation. He paid back wages, reported new branch staff, Xaryuvia’s admission to the Aecus Concord, and the resolution of the hurricane and goblin tunnel crises, then ordered the agents to take a break.
