Meroe was an alchemist wizard, and pyrotechnician of the Zombozo circus. She orchestrated a double homicide and plotted to frame her mentor Zombozo for the crime, in retribution for his role in the death of her parents when she and her twin sister Panthea were children. When her plot was in danger of being sussed out by the SPI, she unsuccessfully tried to murder the SPI investigators using explosives and the circus monsters.
After being exposed to a pathogen circa the time of travel within the crystalline Flux, Meroe became increasingly ill, eventually transforming into a shell of her former self. She disintegrated into dust just before she reached the Cornucopia’s of Life’s sacred waters of healing.

Circus manager who became increasingly suspicious during the investigation. Panicked and activated a booby-trapped underground lair when pressed.

Fought against the SPI using magic and owlbear allies, then was defeated and critically injured before agreeing to surrender.

Recovered from flux corruption after Callie used the Arkenstone as a focus for Dispel Magic. Later fled with Panthea.

Experienced a resurgence of flux taint while fleeing with the party to the old HQ.

Afflicted with a mysterious disease during the desert journey that resembled mummy rot. Confessed to framing Zombozo for the circus murders and throwing up dead bees.
