Apparently vampire nobility, serving the Brucolac. At the meeting in Reena’seere, he unctuously shared his sources’ view that the explosion came from Evershroud’s basement, where Invictus builds his undead horde, contradicting Malachai. At Evershroud, he tried to stop Malachai’s puppet spell, and promised to investigate.

Flew to the agents in bat form, surprised they were still alive, and with a new accent. Relieved to hear Invictus’s fate was a one-time event, he admitted some in his faction would want to seize power now, though he found that tacky, and invited the agents to his chateau for dinner.

Sent his familiar Bilbo to invite the agents to his grand ball that night, with his word that they would remain alive, unharmed, unturned and unbitten before and after the event.

Fragrant Flower of the Château de Mécant, host of the ball, who promised the living guests would not be harmed. Seeing through Ozborn’s disguise, he was amused rather than concerned, and told the agents the halfling village’s fate was unavoidable. He hyped a gladiatorial event with his “weird and wonderful” two-torsoed creature, which escaped, then moved up the hunt, presenting the exiled Sophie Steelboots as quarry, and inviting “Clan SPI” to join.

Opened the cage and, when Sophie flew away on dragon wings, let the hunt start without a head start. Facing off against Calderon the Cold, he yelled that the agents were getting away, and was set on fire by the Malachimera.
